Admission Process

Online pre-registration

Parents and guardians interested in applying to CSU can register their child by filling out the short online form posted on our social media, or by calling the Student Services at 77722220.

Delivery of the detailed information

An applicant will have received this admissions hand-book by an email.

Registration fee

Registration and testing fee for the 2023-2024 academic year is 200,000MNT. This fee is non-refundable, non transferable, and must be paid prior to the applicant taking the admission exam. Please refer to Bank Information for the bank account details.

Fill out application form

An applicant must submit a fully filled application form to Student Services prior to taking the admission exam. The applicant is required to provide an assurance that the information on the form is truthful and accurate.

Admissions exam

CSU is a bilingual school. CSU tests new entrants in English and Mongolian proficiency, Math and other subjects as deemed necessary. This exam will be administered to all applicants. Exam dates will be determined on an on-going basis with the first exam starting in April, 2023. An applicant will be notified of his/her exam date after an application form is submitted and registration fee has been paid.

Admission decision

No application will be considered until all required documents are completed and submitted. Applicants must have successful completion of the previous grade level at their previous school. If the applicant fails to submit documents without full disclosure, an applicant’s place at CSU maybe terminated. Admission decisions will be made on a rolling basis until all remaining seats are filled. School admission board will make the final decision. There may be priority given to applicants whose siblings attend CSU, CSU, ECC, or whose parents are staff members. Once a student has been admitted, an applicant will be notified by an email.

Reserve seat deposit

From the date of acceptance email, an applicant will have 5 business days to pay the seat deposit. If the seat deposit has not been paid, a seat will not be guaranteed. Seat deposit for the 2023-2024 academic year is 2,000,000 MNT. This fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, but deductible from the first of the two installments. Once seat deposit has been made, an applicant will receive an email notifying that an applicant has been officially admitted to CSU. Please refer to Bank Information for the bank account details.

Parents or guardians of newly admitted students must read through “The 2023-2024 parent-student handbook” and sign a contract.
